I ate here for the first time, my daughter and granddaughters had their heart set to eat something else. I ordered mongo, lumpia and halo-halo. The one who waited on us (the owner?) was so nice! The mongo had a good flavor like my mom used to make, except they used the chicharron that my mom didn't. It was delicious! I didn't care much for the lumpia. It had a different taste to the filling. We got some samples of ngalaga and pork BBQ on a stick. Both of them were good! Everyone then, decided to try the food and kept eating it! We're a bit picky on how our pork is cooked, but it gave good flavor and one of my granddaughters tore up the BBQ stick. The marinade and the BBQ sauce on the stick is delicious. We had a choice to have either the evaporated milk or condensed milk with the halo-halo. We chose evaporated because we had ube ice cream with it. My daughter almost ate all of it! It's hard to try a place for the first time, especially when you're used to great home cooked Filipino food and we have my daughter and my godbrother as great chefs, but Camalig Filipino Cuisine is ma sarap!!!

We had Camalig Filipino Cuisine cater the food for our rehearsal dinner. Working with them was absolutely fantastic. They sat down with us as we went over their menu options as they walked us through each dish and allowed us to try the ones they had on hand. The food was amazingly delicious! Our guests loved every bit of it. Great food, great people, great service! Can't recommend them enough! Can't wait to eat there again!

A friend raved about the place and urged us to check it out. So glad we did. The food is great and the prices are good. So glad to have good Filipino food nearby!
